stylized and male - monopolized Kathakali with the rigid Bharathanatyam. Though
it shows deep affinities with both these styles, it has developed as a distinct
dance - form with its own personality.

After breakfast visit Mattupatty Dam for boating, after lunch visit Tata tea Museum and blossom park, Rajmalai View point and Ervaikulam Wild Life Sanctuary to see the rare nilgiri mountain goat (Thar). Evening free for rest, Overnight stay at Munnar.

After breakfast proceed to Thekkady (4hrs) and check into hotel. In the evening take a guided spice plantation tour. Evening free time for shopping, Overnight stay in hotel.

After bed tea at 0600 hrs go for boating at Periyar Lake and return back to hotel. After breakfast proceed to Kottayam (4hrs). Evening is free to enjoy Sunset Cruise or enjoy the beauty of backwater by just relaxing near Vembanadu lake. Evening free for time for shopping. Night stay at Kottayam.

Day:06:Kumarakom-Alleppey Houseboat |

Today you will board to Alleppey the famous Houseboats of Kerala. Sit back and relax while the boat cruises through the narrow serene backwater canals. Lunch evening Tea/Coffee with snacks, dinner and enjoy your evening on the sun deck away from polluted city and maddening crowd. Only disturbance will be the twinkle of a shining stars or diving of a fish around you to say hello by waving its tail from the lake. Overnight stay in House boat.
