here. 35 species of mammals including wild elephant, gaur, sambhar deer, wild boar,
Nilgiri tahr, lion-tailed macaque, 265species of birds, reptiles, amphibians and
a host of other species are also seen. Rolling hills, wooded deals are all garlanded
by rivers. A large population of tribals inhabit here Idukki’s more attraction include
visit to wildlife sanctuaries and hill stations, spice Plantation tours, mountain
treks and elephant rides.
